The eight thematic blocks to be addressed by MeetingPack 2026
The program of this seventh edition will be structured in eight sessions, focusing on trends and solutions to move towards more sustainable models. Among the most important topics are new recyclable materials, strategies to meet the objectives of Regulation 40/2025 and proposals to close the packaging life cycle.
From the first day, innovations in barrier materials for flexible and rigid packaging will be presented. Companies such as ITP, Mitsubishi and TPL will share developments in advanced structures, while Totaleneriges Corbion will showcase the capabilities of expanded PLA . In addition, specialists from APA and Leygatech will provide solutions that balance recyclability and functionality without compromising food safety.
The second day will focus on the challenges of recycling, circularity and regulatory adaptation. Companies such as Novamont and Avantium will present materials derived from renewable sources, including options from CO₂ captured. Monomaterial solutions for specific foods and the real feasibility of recycling multilayer structures will also be discussed.
AIMPLAS, AINIA and other actors such as FYCH Technologies or RecyClass will address reuse models applied to different stages of the supply chain. The closing of the event will include a round table with representatives of distribution and retail to discuss the expectations of consumers and regulators on sustainable packaging.
