During his participation in the SLOM conference in Panama, Cristian Mardones, Marval’s Operations Marine Services Manager, shared the main challenges and strategies of the company, which has more than 35 years of experience in the shipping industry and a solid incursion in the oil and gas sector for almost a decade.
Marval’s experience in the maritime industry

Marval structures its operations in four areas: logistics, agency, ports and maritime services. The company has agencies throughout Chile, from Arica to Magallanes, as well as offices in Peru, Bolivia, Miami and soon in Brazil, thus strengthening its international presence. In San Antonio, Chile, Marval participates in the ownership of Puerto Panul, specialized in solid bulks, and of a port in Caldera dedicated to the fruit season.
