Marula, the Africa-focused mining and exploration company, has secured a major commercial license in Kenya to trade manganese minerals.
This was issued until December 31 of this year and renewable annually. In addition, the license allows the company to acquire, market and export manganese minerals in the country.
New opportunities for the Marula company
The license has been granted to the company’s representative in Kenya, opening significant opportunities for the company in the local and international minerals market.
Likewise, the company plans to acquire the main volumes of manganese minerals from the Larisoro mine, located in Samburu county, Kenya. These minerals will be destined for export markets under new purchase agreements, which marks an important milestone in the company’s expansion and development plans.
Having the license is a crucial step for Marula as it aims to consolidate its investment in the Larisoro mine and increase production of high-quality manganese ores. The company is firmly focused on improving its operations and accessing new international markets for its products.
Strategic advance in global manganese trade
This strategic development underlines the company’s commitment to the growth and diversification of its minerals portfolio. Through this license, the company seeks to strengthen its position in the global market and take advantage of the business opportunities offered by the manganese minerals trade in Kenya and beyond.
Obtaining this commercial license represents a significant advance for Marula Mining , because it allows it to consolidate its presence in the manganese minerals market in Kenya and expand its operations towards new export horizons.
