On the first day of the ILTA 2024 Conference and Trade Show , Leakhena Swett, President of the International Liquid Terminal Association (ILTA), shared details about this year’s notable events and news at an interview conducted by our team.
With the celebration of the organization’s 50th anniversary as a backdrop, this conference promises to be memorable, both for its content and for the expansion of its fair.
ILTA 2024: An event of expansion and innovation
Leakhena explained that the day began with a keynote speech, followed by a talk by researcher and consultant Jason Dorsey on generation gaps, a crucial topic for the industry.
Another of the day’s featured events was ” Women in Terminals “, a space that reflects ILTA’s continued commitment to inclusion and female professional development in the industry .
The President of ILTA also highlighted that this year, the fair has been significantly expanded, offering more space and the incorporation of more than 30 new vendors, bringing the total to more than 300 exhibitors . This increase reflects the continued growth and dynamism of the sector, with approximately 3,000 attendees expected to fill the room.
” Our show has expanded with more static space and our registration had to be moved outside the show to give our new vendors the opportunity .”
The future of ILTA
