Komatsu has announced the launch of its new TimberPro TN230D log loader , designed from the ground up to maximize operational efficiency in the forestry sector. This equipment has a reach of 36 feet and a 197 HP engine , as well as technological innovations that improve productivity and operator comfort.
The TimberPro TN230D Log Loader
The TimberPro TN230D features Power Max , a system that temporarily increases engine power and hydraulic flow to tackle challenging felling tasks. Additionally, its 58,224 lb-ft of swing torque enables precise handling in adverse conditions. All components, including the hydraulic system and powertrain , have been developed in-house by Komatsu to ensure maximum performance and durability.
This new forestry loader is the first in its segment to feature dual service platforms with electric access on both sides, making maintenance and cleaning easier. In addition, the redesigned cab offers wide rear access, service walkways with safety railings and a premium heated and cooled seat.
The TimberPro TN230D will make its debut at the Oregon Logging Conference , taking place February 20-22, 2025. There, attendees will be able to see firsthand the innovative features of this machine and its impact on the forestry industry.
When we set out to develop a new log loader, we gathered feedback on customer needs and then put a team of talented engineers in place to design this product from the ground up.
