In Panama City, Panama, the edition of the AMPP LatinCORR + Pan-American Conference on Corrosion. José Sirera, Senior Manager Latin America of AMPP, opened the event highlighting the commitment of the organization with the proximity and growth in Latin America.

During his opening remarks, Sirera stressed that AMPP’s goal is to strengthen its presence in the region and get closer to its key corrosion audiences, reflecting an itinerant approach that took the previous edition to Rio de Janeiro and envisages a possible destination in Ecuador in the future.
A highlight of this edition is the full presence of AMPP’s worldwide Board of Directors. AMPPwho are holding their annual meeting in Panama in parallel to the congress. This not only reaffirms the international prestige of LatinCORR, but also represents a significant institutional support for the technical and business community of Latin America.
Sirera concluded by thanking the members and attendees for their high level of participation, highlighting the sustained growth of the AMPP community in the region.
