The Association for Materials Protection and Performance ( AMPP ) kicked off its highly anticipated annual event in Nashville, bringing together more than 6,000 industry professionals for a meeting notable for its high technical level and focus on materials innovation and corrosion control.
AMPP’s new consolidations for the coming years
During the opening day, Inspenet had the opportunity to speak with José Sirera , Senior Manager, Global Operations, Latin America at AMPP , who highlighted the importance of this event and the enthusiasm it generated among attendees.
We are delighted to have over 6,000 participants, all of whom are deeply interested in the topics at hand: materials and corrosion. Neither hurricanes nor tornadoes have stopped those committed to this industry.
Sirera stated.
According to the executive, the next three days will be marked by a robust technical agenda that includes presentations on new technologies, innovative materials, and recent experiences in the field. “ The feedback I’ve received so far has been excellent; the content offered this year is some of the most robust and up-to-date we’ve had in a long time, ” he added.
One of the key points Sirera mentioned was the consolidation of AMPP as a global organization, the result of the merger between NACE International and SSPC more than four years ago.
Today we are operating at full speed, combining the strength of a new organizational structure with the accumulated experience of more than 150 years. This allows us to offer better solutions to both our clients and our members.
He stressed.
