From August 29 to September 2, 2025, the city of Olympia, Greece, will witness the first edition of the International Humanoid Olympiad. Organized by the robotic intelligence company Acumino and co-organized with Endeavor Greece, the event will take place at the International Olympic Academy, where state-of-the-art humanoid robots will compete in challenges inspired by Olympic competitions.
Robotics meets Olympic values
The event proposes a meeting point between the millenary tradition of games and the technologies of tomorrow. Competitions will include running, throwing and jumping, where humanoids will demonstrate their coordination, agility and physical intelligence, all powered by advanced AI systems. Beyond the spectacle, the event seeks to generate a space for reflection on the kind of society we want to build with these new collaborative entities.
Attendees will be able to interact directly with humanoid robots, observe live demonstrations and participate in hands-on robotic construction workshops. Children, students and technology enthusiasts will have the opportunity to create their own automatons under the guidance of experts, with no previous experience required.
International humanoid olympiad, more than just competitions
The program includes keynote lectures by world leaders in artificial intelligence and robotics. Topics such as ethics in the design of intelligent machines, human-robot collaboration and the advances of physical AI in different industrial sectors will be discussed. These spaces seek to nurture critical thinking and foster an integrative vision of technological development.
The International Humanoid Olympiad aspires to become a global benchmark for those working in the development of physical intelligence and advanced robotics. advanced robotics. The event will not only showcase technical capabilities, but also the creativity, vision and commitment of a global community working to integrate technology and human values in the same direction.
