French companies want to invest in the Bolivian lithium industry

Bolivia has inaugurated an industrial complex with the capacity to produce 15,000 tons of lithium per year using an evaporation pool system, an event that has aroused the interest of important French companies as strategic allies.

With the Uyuni salt flats as a backdrop, Bolivia has the largest lithium reserves in the world. This allows increasing the positive interest of French companies in the investment, development and production of lithium in the country.

Through official communications, the Bolivian Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy has informed that the meeting in Paris with French companies and state authorities was considered successful and transcendental for the Bolivian state-owned company Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos.
