This new vessel, with a deadweight of 7,999 DWT, is part of a series of four vessels specifically designed to facilitate the maritime industry’s energy transition to more sustainable fuels . The methanol tanker is specially designed to transport methanol, an alternative fuel that contributes to the reduction of polluting gas emissions.
Scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2026, this modern tanker will be equipped with mass flow meters, MarineLINE coating , and all the necessary equipment for methanol bunkering, in compliance with international regulations. In addition, the company is building another dual-fuel vessel at the same shipyard, the Maya Cosulich, also equipped for methanol, which will reinforce the company’s commitment to clean energy.
With this series of four state-of-the-art tankers, we seek to offer our clients flexibility in an increasingly complex alternative fuel landscape, supporting the energy transition of our future charterers.
