Forum Energy Technologies (FET) has secured an agreement with AQUA Exploration to provide one of its remarkably compact, work-class Perry XLX-C remotely operated vehicles ( ROV ). And to maximize the efficiency and reliability of the vehicle, a complete set of spare parts will be supplied .

Perry XLX-C: Strengthening submarine operations in Mexico

This remotely operated vehicle It will intensify the existing capabilities of the Mexican company and will be used to strengthen exploration, inspection and underwater intervention activities in challenging environments . The vehicle has the ability to reach depths of up to 2,000 meters and, thanks to its compact Dynacon LARS design, is uniquely suited to perform inspections, repairs and maintenance on the seabed.

Likewise, the Perry XLX-C can be equipped with additional tools and sensors to facilitate inspection work and light interventions. It stands out for including a high-specification seven-function manipulator arm , ideal for performing complex underwater procedures.

Originally manufactured at FET’s Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire, UK facility, the XLX-C will be sent back for a complete refurbishment and rigorous testing , ensuring it meets the highest quality standards.

FET celebrates the selection of its ROV by AQUA Exploración

Kevin Taylor, Vice President of FET – KMS and Subsea Robotics, expressed his enthusiasm for the selection of his ROV to support AQUA , highlighting the versatility and ability of the XLX-C model to meet the demands of AQUA operations. Luis Gámez, Commercial Director of the company, also expressed his confidence that the integration of this Perry XLX-C will significantly increase performance in its underwater operations and consolidate its position as a leader in integrated underwater solutions.
