Floatel Triumph to return to Australian shores with new contract

Floatel International has secured a new contract for its Floatel Triumph unit, which will operate again in Australian waters during the fourth quarter of 2026. The company confirmed that the contract calls for an initial duration of approximately 35 days with an option for extension by the client.

Floatel Triumph Capabilities and Deployment

Headquartered in Oslo, Floatel maintains its focus on providing high quality housing services and technical support in complex operational environments. The Floatel Triumph, one of Floatel’s semi-submersible platforms of its fleet, is equipped to provide accommodation, crane support and maintenance operations during offshore projects.

The contract award represents a step forward in the company’s expansion strategy in the Asia-Pacific region. This region has been key in the development of recent operations and the return of the Triumph unit. Triumph unit unit is a sign of the recognition that regional operators give to Floatel’s technical performance and logistical capabilities.

The company currently operates a fleet of four floats, all of which are certified under international occupational health and safety regulations. Its units offer accommodation capacities for up to 560 people along with working platforms, workshops and dynamic positioning systems.
