In an interview with Flexomarine at the 20th SLOM 2024 Conference, its Global Business Manager, Sergio Pazinato, highlighted the company’s technological solutions aimed at environmental protection and its most recent developments.
Flexomarine’s environmental commitment
With more than 45 years of experience in the sector, Flexomarine reaffirms its trajectory in the creation of technological solutions for the safe handling of products such as oil, ethanol, diesel, among other important liquids. Moreover, its flagship product, the double-shell hose, has been presented as a breakthrough in environmental protection.
This technology achieves containment of possible leaks of hazardous liquids, minimizing the risk of contamination and ensuring safety in critical operations.“The main objective is to protect, and detect in time, any failure in the system, preventing the fluid from contaminating the environment,” Pazinato explained.
In the constant search for innovation, Flexomarine is developing a telematics system for its services. This new technology will allow operators to monitor, in real time, the status of the hoses from anywhere, through a mobile application.“We want the system to ‘talk’ to the operator and tell him when a replacement is needed, all without direct intervention in the environment,” Pazinato noted.
In addition, the company has taken advantage of its participation in SLOM 2024 to connect with customers and competitors, while participating in technological advances in the sector.“We are focused on safer and more sustainable solutions, reducing the carbon footprint and contributing to a greener world,” the executive assured.
