In an exclusive interview, instructor Jorge Casas highlighted the relevance of its programs in the prevention of accidents and the implementation of international standards.

Casas emphasized that 80% of maritime maritime incidents were due to human error. For this reason, Entremar offers comprehensive programs such as basic and advanced OMIE courses, training for port moorers, port logistics and the Logic Cargomaster diploma course, which has benefited more than 130 professionals from companies such as Ecopetrol, Chevron, TEDSACO and the Sociedad Portuaria Regional de Cartagena.

Purposeful port training

Entremar designs its educational offerings in line with the guidelines of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), with special emphasis on the environmental protection.

Our contents promote the prevention of marine and atmospheric pollution, training responsible and prepared crews.

Casas assured.

The company also emphasizes the development of key soft skills such as communication and attentiveness, fundamental pillars for building high-performance teams in industries such as transportation of hydrocarbonscontainers, gas and chemical tankers and chemical tankers.

Technology at the service of the sea

Entremar is committed to virtual reality and simulators as essential tools for practical training.

Virtual scenarios make it possible to recreate real conditions and retrospectively study past events, which substantially improves the quality of learning.

The instructor explained.

During the event in Panama, Entremar strengthened ties with partner organizations, with the aim of expanding its reach in Latin America and training the new generation of seafarers, meeting the sustainability, safety and technology requirements of the sector.
