The company’s value now rises to £15.8 billion, serving more than 8.5 million users with an infrastructure spanning 192,000 km. Furthermore, the integration of UKPN allows the organization to lead the electrification of demand necessary to achieve carbon neutrality in British territory.

The chosen financing structure is balanced, integrating debt and an equity placement to maintain credit strength. The United Kingdom is now established as the second most important market for the French group.

The transaction is expected to close by mid-2026, once the relevant regulatory approvals are obtained. Executives from both entities agree that industrial capacity and long-term vision will be the drivers for the next phase of investment in the English power grid and customer supply.
