Element 1 Corp. (e1NA) has taken a significant step in its global expansion with the signing of an agreement with a key partner in North America. The company has received a multi-year secured order totaling more than $5.3 million for its L18-PSA hydrogen generator .

This unit, part of the e1NA product line, is designed to produce low-purity hydrogen from a mixture of methanol and water, which is processed through a third-party pressure swing absorption (PSA) system to obtain high-purity hydrogen.

The distribution of hydrogen generators will be in several countries

The agreement establishes that e1NA’s partner will obtain exclusive rights to distribute the L18-PSA generators in the US, Canada, Mexico, and the UK. This important agreement reflects the confidence in Element 1’s technology and represents a significant step forward in reducing the costs of compressed hydrogen and improving the security of supply of this critical resource.

Dave Edlund, CEO of Element 1, highlighted that costs and security of supply are the main obstacles to widespread hydrogen adoption. In his words, the company’s patented technology addresses these challenges simultaneously, with a return on investment that, in many cases, is measured in months. This accelerates the adoption of hydrogen solutions such as fuel cells and hydrogen combustion engines, marking a shift toward a cleaner and more efficient energy transition.

Production of the first L18-PSA generators will begin this year at e1NA’s Bend, Oregon, facility, where mobile and transportable units will be manufactured to provide flexible hydrogen generation solutions for a variety of industrial and commercial applications.
