DenkerWulf, a leading developer of onshore wind energy in Germany, has signed an agreement with the Nordex Group to supply and install 25 wind turbines turbines at three new wind farms located in Schleswig-Holstein. The order totals 122.7 megawatts (MW) of capacity and strengthens the strategic relationship between the two companies.
Installation of Nordex turbines in three wind farms
The turbines will be distributed between Galmsbüll Bahrenhof (3 units of the N149/5.X model), Galmsbüll Park (18 units N133/4800) and Padenstedt (4 units N133/4800). The structures will reach hub heights of between 105 and 125 meters, depending on location and ground conditions.
The N133/4800 models have been selected for their efficiency in high wind areas such as northern Germany, optimizing energy production even with lower tower heights.
Nordex will also assume full maintenance of the facilities for 20 years through a premium service contract. This service guarantee reinforces both companies’ focus on long-term operational sustainability.
Consolidated alliance and shared objectives
This new collaboration is part of the repowering of zones previously developed by DenkerWulf. In particular, the community park in Galmsbüll has been optimized thanks to the agile processes and technology of Nordex. The partnership between the two entities has already exceeded 500 MW installed in the country.
Installation of the equipment will begin in 2027, and all the farms are expected to be operational by 2028, contributing significantly to the electricity supply in the north of the country.
