Chinese company DEEP Robotics has surprised us once again with its latest innovation: the Lynx robot , a robot dog designed to tackle challenging terrain with unmatched flexibility. A new video shows the hybrid quadruped performing impressive dance moves as it navigates snow, streams and steep slopes.
Lynx Robot Hybrid Technology
Lynx stands out for its ability to alternate between walking on legs and sliding on wheels, allowing it to move quickly and stably on uneven surfaces. Thanks to an advanced locomotion system and intelligent control algorithms, the robot maintains its balance even in adverse scenarios , such as slippery ice or rocky terrain.
According to DEEP Robotics, the key to this innovation lies in its combination of high-performance motors, advanced sensors and an ergonomic design that optimizes navigation in difficult environments. This makes it an ideal tool for rescue, surveillance and exploration missions in hard-to-reach areas.
Robotic show that impresses
In the newly released video, Lynx shows off its technical prowess and demonstrates a fluidity of movement worthy of choreography. In one moment, the robot glides across the ice with precision and in another it performs pirouettes on its hind legs, highlighting its ability to adapt.

In addition to its agility, Lynx is designed to withstand extreme conditions. It has an IP54 rating, protecting it from dust and water, and its interchangeable battery guarantees up to three hours of continuous operation.
A breakthrough in quadruped robotics
DEEP Robotics, a pioneer in the development of quadruped robots in China, continues to expand its portfolio with innovative models such as Lynx, Lite3 , X20 and X30. Its focus on artificial intelligence and robotic autonomy positions the company as a key competitor in the sector.
As these machines advance in capabilities and applications, the line between biomechanics and robotics is blurring, opening up a world of possibilities for exploration, safety and assistance in harsh environments.
