Dajin introduces KING ONE, a first heavy-deck carrier ship

The vessel's design is optimized for offshore operations, where it will be able to transport heavy components over intercontinental distances.

The giant Dajin Heavy Industry has just announced the launch of its first independently built heavy deck carrier vessel. It was christened KING ONE, this vessel was developed to meet the complex logistical needs of the offshore wind, oil and gas sectors.

Designed to transport large volume and weight equipment, the KING ONE has a deadweight capacity of close to 40,000 tons. With a length of 240 meters and a beam of 51 meters, it offers a deck area of 12,000 m². It is also powered by a twin-engine, twin-propeller system, with an operating speed of 13 knots and a range of 16,000 nautical miles.

With active naval facilities since 2022, Dajin Heavy Industry has expanded its capabilities from wind power component manufacturing to specialized shipbuilding. The plant, one of the group’s three main plants in the offshore sector, seeks to align itself with the standards of the most prestigious international shipyards.

The KING ONE is the first of a planned fleet of twenty similar vessels, strengthening the company’s position as a comprehensive provider of maritime technologies for offshore energy industries.

After launching on October 10, 2025, KING ONE will enter the sea trials and technical certification phase. In addition, it is expected to start operations in the first months of 2026. The company expects this vessel to strengthen its portfolio of integrated solutions for global customers.

With its focus on innovation, in-house engineering and high manufacturing capacity, Dajin is consolidating its position as an emerging player in the competitive heavy marine transportation market linked to renewable energy and marine resources.
