Costamare Bulkers Holdings Limited announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with Cargill International, with the aim of strengthening its position in the solid bulk shipping sector and advancing the decarbonization of its operations.

Under the agreement, Costamare Bulkers will transfer to Cargill most of its trading portfolio, which includes chartered vessels, freight forwarding commitments and derivatives positions. In addition, the company will charter four Supramax vessels to Cargill for a period of four to six months.
In addition, this pact includes a fueling services agreement, which bunkering services with Seascale Energy, a joint venture between Cargill and Hafnia, which will cover both Costamare Bulkers’ own fleet and its operating fleet.
