The Hispanoamericana University in Costa Rica will begin to teach Quality Engineering and Business Process Engineering courses starting this year, which makes that country the first in Latin America to train this category of professionals.
The academic proposal, approved by the Higher Education Council, responds to the high demand for engineering in the industrial, electronic, computer and electromechanical sectors, needs raised by the Costa Rican Coalition of Development Initiatives (CINDE), indicates this study center .
The future professional in Quality Engineering will have greater knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of organizations, such as compliance with new policies subject to developments in national or global technical standards to increase competitiveness in the market.
For its part, the graduate in Business Process Engineering will be trained in multidisciplinary areas such as investment and finance, process and product design, marketing, strategic management; as well as information and communication technologies.
