New model of Jumper van with 100% electric propulsion unveiled

Recent weeks have seen the 30th anniversary of Citröen’s iconic Jumper van and it has announced exciting updates, including a 100% electric proposal.

New features on the Jumper van

This new version stands out for its impressive 200 kW/270 hp output and 420 km range, setting a new standard in efficiency and performance. In addition, this electric model can reach 80% of its charging capacity in just 55 minutes, thanks to its compatibility with 150 kW fast charging points.

Citröen, part of the Stellantis conglomerate, has begun marketing its new Jumper, which redefines driving comfort. For the first time, an automatic gearbox is offered on two of the three new BlueHDi engines: 140 and 180 hp. And in parallel, the 120 hp engine maintains a 6-speed manual gearbox, balancing tradition and modernity.

Autonomy and durability in new van versions

The French brand has unveiled plans to further enrich the Jumper range with a hydrogen-powered fuel cell engine, promising nearly 500 kilometers of range and eco-efficiency.

In addition, the mid-range version includes a 5-inch screen, which facilitates access, radio and telephone connection via Bluetooth, raising the user experience to new standards of interactivity and convenience.

For high-end models, it has integrated an advanced 10-inch touchscreen, which integrates wireless navigation with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring full connectivity for the most demanding users.

Modalities and user improvements

In order to optimize working conditions for its users, the new Jumper has been equipped with innovations such asan electric parking brake, which offers greater comfort compared to manual systems. In addition, a digital interior rearview mirror has been incorporated, which represents a qualitative leap in terms of safety.

It has also introduced driver assistance enhancements, including fatigue alert and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection. These additions reflect the brand’s commitment to driver safety and well-being.
