Bunker supplier Chimbusco Pan Nation (CPN) has made the first delivery of B30 marine gasoil in Hong Kong. This blend is composed of 30 % biodiesel and 70 % marine gasoil and was delivered to Orient Overseas Container Line(OOCL).

On July 11, 2025, CPN successfully executed this operation using a blend certified under the ISCC-EU standard, which guarantees traceability and sustainability. This action encourages the sector’s commitment to cleaner energy sources and highlights CPN as a benchmark in the green bunkering. In addition, the delivery included a second operation with high sulfur B30 fuel, demonstrating the company’s logistical and technical capacity.
The dual delivery, of B30 marine gasoil and higher sulfur B30 fuel, is evidence of CPN’s operational ability to handle complex cargoes with precision. Such simultaneous operation highlights its ability to respond to the new challenges of biofuels supply, especially in densely trafficked port areas such as Hong Kong.
This delivery also consolidates the strategic relationship between OOCL and CPN, demonstrating that collaboration between shippers and fuel suppliers can accelerate the transition to more sustainable shipping.
