CATL has introduced its TENER Stack system, an energy storage solution for energy storage solution that redefines scale and efficiency in the industry. With 9 MWh per unit, this system is designed to respond to the growing demand for stable and secure energy solutions in the face of blackouts and consumption peaks.
TENER Stack has greater capacity and a compact design
Thanks to a 50% increase in energy density over standard 20-foot containers, TENER Stack offers superior capacity without compromising space or logistics. The system can power up to 150 electric vehicles or supply an average household for more than 6 years, making it a real option for industrial installations and residential self-consumption networks.
CATL has implemented a modular architecture that keeps the weight per unit below 36 tons. This facilitates its international transport, complying with the main global logistics standards, and allows a scalable installation in different environments.
Safety is a cornerstone of TENER Stack’s design. Based on LFP (lithium-ferrophosphate) battery technology, the system incorporates fire safety enhancements and meets IEEE693 seismic requirements. This positions it as a reliable alternative in regions prone to extreme events.
TENER Stack represents a breakthrough in the integration of renewable energies into the electricity system. By facilitating flexible and robust storage management, it enables greater use of clean sources and a more stable supply, even in times of high demand or unexpected outages.
