With an estimated investment of between 120 and 144 million euros, Cadeler will implement its operating model using two specialised vessels: one O-class and one P-class . This double-vessel configuration will allow for optimised operations , ensuring the installation of 100 wind turbines offshore, at distances of 22 km and 37 km from the port of Łeba.
Installation and structuring operations are scheduled for 2027, and it is estimated that these wind farms can generate a total of 1,440 MW, which will be equivalent to supplying more than two million homes.
This project is Cadeler’s third in Poland, establishing a sustained growth, driven by demand for renewable energy. Mikkel Gleerup, CEO of Cadeler, expressed his enthusiasm, noting that this is the company’s first firm contract with Equinor and Polenergia, which opens the door to future successful collaborations.
The Danish company manages and oversees large-scale projects in the offshore wind energy sector. With its fleet of jack-up vessels, Cadeler continues to strengthen its position as an essential supplier for energy sustainability, ensuring greater efficiency and reduced emissions in its projects.
