Public safety drone company BRINC has secured $75 million in a new round of funding aimed at accelerating the development and production of emergency drones . The investment was led by Index Ventures and featured prominent participation from Motorola Solutions, a leading security technology company. Other investors included Mike Volpi and Dylan Field, CEO of Figma.

This new funding will allow BRINC to expand its production capacity to meet the growing demand from public safety agencies across the United States. With more than 600 agencies and over 10% of SWAT teams using its products, the company continues to demonstrate its impact on de-escalating critical situations and protecting lives .

Strategic alliance to improve emergency drones

The most significant announcement of this investment round is the strategic alliance with Motorola Solutions, which will allow the integration of Motorola’s APX radios and VESTA 911 emergency call management software with BRINC’s drones. This integration will create a more agile response to emergencies, allowing drones to be deployed directly from Motorola radios with the push of a button .

We’re excited to join forces with Motorola to transform automated emergency response. This step will not only enhance our crisis response capabilities but also expand the utility of our drones by seamlessly integrating them into Motorola’s public safety ecosystem.

“Declared Blake Resnick, founder and CEO of BRINC.
