Power and performance of the BelAZ 75710

BelAZ 75710 uses two 16-cylinder four-stroke diesel engines with 65 liters each. That is, the truck is equipped with 32 cylinders and 130 liters of displacement. Each of these powerful engines generate 2,300 Hp at 1,900 rpm and 9,313 Nm at 1,500. Doing sums, it generates 2,300 Hp and 25,218 Nm of torque.

This power allows you to achieve a top speed of 64 km/h on flat terrain and 40 km/h on climbs. In turn, this truck has an approximate cost of 425 liters each hour of operation and to store the fuel it has two 2,800-liter tanks.

tires and suspension

It is not only the largest truck in the world, but also the one that uses the largest wheels currently available. The 8 gigantic tires are radial, tubeless, and with dimensions 59/80R63 on 44.00-63/5.0 rims.

These tires have a diameter of 4.03 meters and a width of 1.5 meters, with a weight of more than 5,000 kg, being able to support more than 104 tons each. The most curious thing is that they work at a very low pressure, of only 0.6 bars. The inner turning radius is 19.8 meters, while the outer diameter is 45 meters.

The suspension is independent for the front and rear wheels, with hydropneumatic cylinders with a volume of 125.8 liters each (with oil and nitrogen inside), with two units on the front axle and two on the rear. Suspension travel is just 170mm on both axles.
