The Association of Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Companies of Latin America and the Caribbean (ARPEL) will hold the sixth edition of its main event, the ARPEL 2022 Conference, which will take place from November 14 to 16 in Lima, Peru .

Under the slogan “Promoting the transformation of the region’s oil and gas sector. Energy transitions and new risk dynamics”, will be developed in a 100% face-to-face format, which will have a vast agenda and the participation of executives from the main operating companies and suppliers in the sector.

Among the confirmed speakers are the President of Ancap, Alejandro Stipanicic; General Manager of COGA, Andrés Mendizábal; Executive President of OCP Ecuador, Jorge Vugdelija; Vice President and General Manager of Peru LNG, María Julia Aybar; General Manager of Petroperú, Cristina Fung; CEO of PetroTal, Manuel Zúniga; CEO of Pluspetrol, Claudio de Diego; President of Recope, Juan Manuel Quesada; Managing Director of Staatsolie, Annand Jagesar; CEO of Tecpetrol, Ricardo Markous; CEO of UNNA, Reynaldo Llosa; Executive President of YPFB, Armin Dorgathen; VP Refining and Industrial Processes of Ecopetrol, Walter Cánova; Begoña Mundó, Vice President and Executive Director of Grupo Tema Litoclean; Gabriel Grzona, YPF Refining Executive Manager, and Raízen Refining Director, Alejandro Vago.

Meanwhile, the panel dedicated to Digital Transformation will include the participation of Sebastián Carmona, Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of Honeywell; Patricio Whitney, VP Integration & Digital Operations Solutions Western Hemisphere at Schlumberger; Ernesto Gutiérrez, CTO of Ecopetrol, and Juliano Dantas, Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation of Petrobras.

During the first day, the Assembly of Members, the Meeting of Hydrocarbons Agencies, the “Alumni” Meeting of the Senior Management Program, various workshops and meetings of the ARPEL Technical Committees, as well as the opening ceremony with Peruvian authorities will take place. , Petroperú and ARPEL.

Meanwhile, the second day will feature panels on “Opportunities and challenges for investment in exploration and production”, “The future of the refining sector in Latin America and the Caribbean”, “Climate change, energy transitions and the role of the oil sector and gas” and “Opportunities for the development of natural gas in the region”.

The third day of the ARPEL Conference will bring together the CEOs of the companies in the region and in different sessions the topics will be addressed: “Sustainability, Transparency, Compliance and the relationship with Stakeholders”; “Talent and Diversity”, and “The impacts of digital transformation.
