Joseph Shaw de Amerapex en entrevista

During the NISTM 2025 conference, Joseph Shaw, head of business development at Amerapex Service Group, shared details about the evolution of the company and its value proposition in industrial services, especially highlighting its capabilities in environmental remediation and integrated tank management.

Founded in 2003 as a seismic company in Saudi Arabia, the company has significantly expanded its portfolio. Today it offers solutions that include:

  • Cleaning
  • Inspection
  • Installation of coatings
  • Disposal of hazardous materials
  • Remediation of contaminated soils

Regulatory adaptation as a quality standard

The company’s international expansion has required the company to stay aligned with environmental regulations in each region. Shaw explained how, for example, Texas now requires the use of thermal oxidizers in tanks with benzene, a measure that the company has already incorporated into its processes, ensuring emissions below the limits required by the TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality).

Human resources, a constant challenge

Shaw also addressed one of the most important current challenges for the company, the constant need for qualified personnel, from engineers to field technicians, the demand for skilled talent is high. To address this, the company combines direct hiring and internal training programs, aiming for organic and sustained growth.

Global projection with a sustainable approach

With active operations in 18 countries and experience in regions such as the Middle East and North America, Amerapex seeks to consolidate its position as a leader in industrial services, environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance. Its comprehensive approach to industrial tank management and soil remediation not only responds to operational needs, but also to a commitment to responsible development.
