Alef Aeronautics , the American company specializing in automotive innovation, has taken a big step with the takeoff of its flying car, the Alef Model Zero, an event that was recorded on video and shared on social media by the company’s CEO.
What is known about Alef’s flying car
This 100% electric car is capable of taking off vertically thanks to distributed electric propulsion, an innovative technology that allows air to flow through the propeller blades, optimizing takeoff without the need for special runways.
Unlike other flying car prototypes, which have been designed to function as transport drones, the Alef Aeronautics vehicle maintains the functionality of a conventional car, allowing it to drive on roads and park like any other electric vehicle . In fact, the Alef Model A commercial model will be able to fly up to 177 km and travel 322 km in land mode, standing out as a vehicle suitable for daily life.
The Alef Model A will be available with a starting price of $300,000 , making it a considerable investment for early buyers. The company has received thousands of pre-orders, demonstrating the growing interest in this type of advanced electric vehicle.
Alef Aeronautics’ advances do not stop here. By 2035, the launch of the Alef Model Z is expected, a flying sedan with capacity for four people, which will be able to reach a range of up to 400 miles on the road and 200 miles in flight.
