Acciona Energía has started commercial operation of the Ayora I-II-III solar complex, located in Jarafuel (Valencia), with an installed capacity of 85.74 megawatts peak. This facility is one of the most important in the region and stands out for its environmental impact and commitment to corporate decarbonization.
Long-term energy partnerships
The project is supported by two power purchase agreements (PPAs) (PPAs) with a duration of 12 years. The customers linked to these contracts are DaVita, which specializes in medical services for kidney diseases, and Zimmer Biomet, which specializes in medical technology. Thanks to these agreements, both companies are making progress in reducing their Scope 2 emissions.
With an estimated annual generation of 172 gigawatt hours, the complex will prevent the emission of some 75,000 tons of CO₂, which is equivalent to taking 29,000 combustion vehicles off the road or planting more than one million trees.

During the construction of Ayora I-II-IIIthe project generated up to 250 jobs at peak times. In addition, Acciona is committed to reinvesting part of the revenues from the park in local initiatives, favoring the economic and social development of the region.
