1st US-Africa Energy Forum 2021 to be held in Houston

Houston, Texas will host the 1st US Energy Forum. and Africa (USAEF) 2021, on December 9 and 10 at the C. Baldwin Hotel, an event organized by Energy Capital & Power (ECP) and the Africa-United States Committee of the African Energy Chamber, under the theme “New horizons for energy investment between the United States and Africa”.

Through the colloquium it will be possible to establish connections between companies in the African and American energy sector, promoting a sustainable investment agenda in the oil sector, clean energy, energy infrastructure and mineral resources throughout the continent.

Seven African energy ministers are confirmed to attend, presenting investment projects and licensing opportunities to US carriers, finance companies and service providers.

Speakers include: Gabriel Obiang Lima, Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons of Equatorial Guinea. Aissatou Sophie Gladima, Minister of Petroleum and Energy of Senegal, Puot Kang Chol, Minister of Petroleum of South Sudan, John Munyes, Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining of Kenya, Jadeen Ali Abed Hassan, Minister of Energy and Petroleum of Sudan, Abdirashid Mohamed Ahmed, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Somalia and the Minister of Energy of Zambia.
