The tenth edition of the Oil and Gas Expo Procura (OGEP) 2023 Forum aims to bring together more than 5 thousand attendees and around 120 exhibitors . This event, organized by Oil and Gas Expo Procura, is scheduled to take place in Villahermosa from October 25 to 27 of this year .
This information was announced during a press conference by the President of Coparmex Tabasco, José Luis Zúñiga Lozano. It was highlighted that the headquarters will be building 2 of Parque Tabasco and the formation of significant strategic alliances is anticipated to strengthen local businessmen.
A notable economic injection of one billion pesos is expected derived from the possible commercial agreements between the participating companies. In addition, an additional contribution to the local economy is anticipated in the hotel and gastronomy field of Tabasco during the days of the event, estimated at more than 80 million pesos.
OGEP 2023 will have attendees of international stature
As indicated by Zúñiga Lozano, the participation of a delegation from several countries, including Colombia, New Zealand, Denmark and the United States, is expected within the framework of the oil forum. The expectations are remarkable, considering that this event is taking place again after the stage of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the presence of Emmanuel Patraca, who holds the position of director of Economic Development in the municipality of Centro, it was emphasized that the objective of this forum, known as “Connecting Companies”, is to support and strengthen the growth of small and medium-sized companies in Tabasco. This acquires special relevance in the oil and energy industry , with the purpose of taking advantage of the economic benefits generated by the construction of the Dos Bocas Refinery.
