The Colombian mixed public service company, ESSA , opened the call for its “Good Energy for Life Project” scholarship program, to support talented students from Santander to pursue careers related to electrical energy.

These scholarships are designed to provide financial support and transform the future of young talent in the region. The university majors applicable to this call include Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Economics, Social Work, Law and Psychology.

Requirements and steps to apply for the ESSA “Good Energy for Life Project” scholarships

To opt for one of the scholarships, the following requirements must be met: be Colombian, reside in a municipality in the area of ​​direct influence of ESSA, belong to stratum 1 or 2, attach a SISBEN certificate, level 1 or 2, Send updated judicial record certificate.

In addition, not receiving financial support for higher education studies from other public or private entities, not having a higher education degree at the time of applying, being pursuing a professional career (undergraduate) in universities certified by the Ministry of Education.

Also, those interested must have completed and approved the subjects corresponding to the third semester to enroll in full credits of the fourth semester, of one of the programs related to the call, have an accumulated average of 3.5 at the time of making the application.

It is important to highlight that those interested in the scholarships must present the electricity bill of the place of residence of the family nucleus, which must be up to date and coincide with the address reported in the program’s admission letter, only one beneficiary will be admitted. For each family nucleus, attach a reference letter from the faculty to which it belongs and attach a scholarship application letter.
