Renowned billionaire businessman Elon Musk, owner and CEO of SpaceX , Twitter and Tesla, has recruited a 14-year-old teenager as a new software engineer at his aerospace company, which is racing to explore the Moon and Mars. This hiring makes the young man the youngest employee of SpaceX, a company that already has approximately 4,300 satellites in space.

Kairan Quazi, a child prodigy who has risen to great fame, will graduate this month with a Bachelor of Science, Computer Science and Engineering from Santa Clara University (USC) in California, United States. With this achievement, Kairan will also become the youngest person to graduate with an engineering degree in USC’s 172-year history.

14-Year-Old Genius Joins Elon Musk’s Team at SpaceX

After completing his college studies, Kairan will move with his mother from Pleasanton, California, to Washington state, with the goal of joining SpaceX’s Starlink team in Redmond, as he has signed a contract with the company.

From the earliest years, Kairan’s parents realized that conventional education was not enough to meet their son’s needs. According to his mother, Kairan has an IQ higher than 99.9% of the general population.

The boy’s pediatrician recommended that he skip some educational steps and go straight to college. Although his parents did not know how to convince an educational institution to accept their eleven-year-old son, they finally succeeded. The teenager even had the opportunity to intern at Intel Labs as a Cooperative Research Fellow.
