Since our inception in 1995, Consulting & Field Services, LLC (CFS Inspection) has developed a state-of-the-art Refractory and Mechanical Integrity Inspection business based on proven business management principles and a high regard for our employees. With an ongoing focus on the importance of providing clients with critical inspection data, CFS Inspection is proud to have become a leading provider of mechanical integrity services to the petroleum and chemical industries. We use highly qualified qualified personnel in all aspects of our refractory and mechanical integrity testing and inspection services. Our safe work performance is based on the same proven principles that have led to the overall success of our company.

The Safety and Well-being of our employees is based on the fundamental values that CFS maintains as a priority for each job we carry out. The safety and health of our employees is the “number one priority”. We start with safety and carry it through to the end of every aspect of our work, and we are proud of our safety successes.

Safety awareness is the key to outstanding performance. We are based on the principle that safety success depends on making the right decisions regarding the tasks that are performed. Work processes are extremely diverse and each task performed has its own set of recognizable hazards. We train and trust our employees to evaluate every aspect of their work. Company leaders authorize employees to make adjustments as necessary so that each job can be completed without injury to an employee or others working around us. We are proud to say that our employees accept the fact that performing work safely is a full-time responsibility for everyone at our company.

Knowing how to do the job safely is a fundamental safety principle. Hazards must be identified and assessed for each task separately. Employees are educated and trained to evaluate every aspect of the work they do. Eliminating hazards, or protecting employees from them, is a deliberate action necessary before work begins. Employees know they can seek support in designing a safe work process whenever they need it.

“Perform with confidence” is more than a slogan. Employees know that taking risks to get the job done is never acceptable behavior. Employees have learned to trust their abilities and their determination to perform their jobs safely. Working “smartly” to avoid unnecessary exposure to hazards is a sign of Safety Maturity. CFS Inspection management expects our employees to become stakeholders and owners of their safe work processes.

Asking for help or instructions is a highly appreciated character trait when it comes to working safely. Employees who are willing to learn and aren’t afraid to ask for help are much less likely to injure themselves or someone else than people who “fake” their way through a task. We know that when it comes to safety, support is a strength, not a weakness. Safety is a team function.

Self-assessment and self-worth is a highly sought after trait among employees that CFS encourages and rewards. Every task can become a teachable moment for our employees as we strive to continually improve our work processes. The Pre-Job Safety Analysis is a great tool for improving safety performance and the Post-Job Safety Analysis is equally valuable for adding validity and support to what has been done and what should be done in the future.

Mechanical Integrity Inspections performed by CFS employees provide our customers with critical information about the condition of their equipment and physical assets. Consulting and Field Services, LLC (CFS Inspection) recognizes the importance of every job we perform for clients. We also recognize that “working safely” is as important to clients as the refractory and mechanical inspection work that is provided. Safety is integral to all aspects of our CFS business.
