The EAN University has launched a call for Women in Engineering Scholarships, with the aim of promoting female empowerment and reducing the gender gap in education, especially in the STEAM disciplines.

From June 1 to 27, 2023, applications will be received from women interested in studying Environmental, Mechatronics, Energy, Industrial, Production, Systems and Chemical Engineering.

The scholarships will award 50% of the enrollment to a total of 50 women from different regions of Colombia. In addition, they also have different means of financing and the Financial Support Plan: Eanista Cuenta Conmigo, to facilitate the payment of the remaining 50%.

There is no specific age range to participate, since applications have been received from young recent graduates to women with empirical knowledge who want to become a professional.

Virtual and face-to-face modality: Know the details to study Engineering at the EAN University

For Industrial, Production and Systems Engineering careers, the virtual modality is offered, allowing access from anywhere in the country. However, for the other engineering courses, the program must be completed in person in the city of Bogotá.

In addition, the EAN University has highlighted that the scholarships are open to women belonging to indigenous, Afro-Colombian, Raizal, Palenquera, Gypsy and LGBTQI people, providing inclusive training opportunities.
