ASME Hosts International Summit for Leadership in Mechanical Engineering Education

This month, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) will hold the International Summit of Leadership in Mechanical Engineering Education (MEED 2023), from March 23 to 25 at the Caribe Hilton, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The event will bring together university, industry and government leaders to discuss current issues in engineering education and research, as well as to share the latest business, management and curricular practices.

The Summit has this year’s theme: ‘ Engineering Change Agents – The professional and pedagogical role of design and engineering as agents of Disruption, Innovation, Regeneration and Transformation’.

This conference, geared toward mechanical engineers and chairs, deans, related department heads, and other leaders, will address issues about the current and future state of engineering education.
