Panama has been implementing its Energy Transition Agenda for years, which has undertaken a policy of diversification of its matrix, mostly hydroelectric, but now the use of renewable energies such as wind and solar has increased.
Panama, through this action, has developed 83% of green energies in its matrix, an achievement that experts point out will soon translate into a considerable reduction in the cost of energy for Panamanians.
In this same sense, Panama proposes key strategies for the insertion of electric mobility, access to modern energy, and the modernization of the electricity sector, strategies that have mainly diversified the electricity market and with the possibility of Panama becoming a future Hub. energy in the region.
