Petrobras and its partners have awarded Aker Solutions a five-year framework agreement to provide subsea production systems and subsea lifecycle services for Petrobras-operated fields off the coast of Brazil.
The scope of the agreement covers the delivery of complete subsea production systems, including up to 33 subsea Christmas trees (oil wells), the company’s latest generation of Vectus subsea controls, subsea distribution units and spare parts.
The works include intervention, conservation, maintenance and installation services, which will be operated from the Aker Solutions service base in Rio das Ostras in Rio de Janeiro.
