Honeywell announced an innovative new Ethanol-to-Fuel (ETJ) processing technology, which enables producers to convert corn, cellulose or sugar-based ethanol into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

Depending on the type of ethanol feedstock used, aviation fuel produced from Honeywell’s conversion process can reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 80% over a total life cycle, compared to with petroleum-based aviation fuel.
