Inspenet, a network of knowledge and professional connection, was at the XVIII Oil Maritime Terminal and Monobuoy Operators Conference, which took place from October 5 to 7 in Cartagena, Colombia, at the Estelar Cartagena de Indias Hotel & Convention Center.

During the event, Inspenet TV exclusively interviewed Ing. Anthony Teo, Vice President / Head of Americas of the company RightShip, with offices in Australia, Singapore, London and the United States.

RightShip handles maritime risk management, ship verification, greenhouse gas emissions rating, maritime safety and environmental sustainability. It is the largest maritime procedures organization in the world, providing expertise in global safety, sustainability and social responsibility practices.

The company was founded in Melbourne in 2001, with BHP Freight and Rio Tinto. “We have a lot of services to meet the needs of our customers, in particular marine operations, and we also have some tools to support them in decarbonization as well as sustainability efforts, meeting global demand right now,” Theo explained. And he added: “We have a solid team that helps our clients to decarbonize their business, we specialize in helping them eliminate the risk of operations on vessels.”

RightShip combines years of maritime experience, extensive data access, analytics, and an intuitive digital platform to deliver pertinent information to its customers throughout the maritime ecosystem for successful voyages without harm to ships, the cargo they carry, the environment and the crew on board.
