Inspenet, the professional knowledge and connection network, exclusively interviewed Danny Keck, president of The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), vice president of ASNT Certification Services LLC and member of the ASNT board of directors.
This year’s ASNT 2022 Annual Conference will be held from October 31 to November 3, 2022, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, USA under the theme: Where the World of Non-Destructive Testing Unites!
“ASNT, has been holding conferences for 70 years and this is the largest Nondestructive Testing conference worldwide. All the leaders in NDT will be attending this event. We will have two featured speakers, also a special event: the ASNT Gala, many technical sessions that you can attend, also, this year we will be holding for the first time, an ultrasonic testing competition,” explained Keck.
The two main conferences will be; one on Monday, October 31 at 16:00; given by Dr. Moogega Cooper, who will share leadership lessons in the field of space exploration on the planet Mars as part of the famed Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) team. And the other on Thursday, November 3 at 12:00pm, by Tim Hwang, an expert on artificial intelligence and its existing and likely implications, on issues related to ensuring that artificial intelligence systems are designed and used ethically.
The event will feature topical NDT panels by industry leaders, new interactive and expanded sessions, exciting presentations where experts will present innovative content and the latest advances in NDT. There will be a hall with more than 225 exhibitors and more than 2,500 industry professionals are expected to attend.
“This year’s annual conference will be very special, I look forward to seeing everyone in Nashville,” Keck finished.
