These are some of the most specialized degrees that have been added to the offer of Spanish universities during the new academic year 2022-2023. At least 15 centers are launching almost thirty new degrees, with subjects ranging from artificial intelligence to robotics.

With a total of 240 credits, the Artificial Intelligence degree comes to Galicia, at the Universidade Da Coruña, at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, at the Universidad de Vigo and also in the capital, with a degree at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

This year Robotics Engineering is added as a degree at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. In the case of the Universidad Politècnica de València, the degree in Industrial Informatics and Robotics has been added, showing how closely these two subjects are linked.

Big Data and the data scientist profession is becoming more and more common. This year the University of Murcia adds the Data Science and Engineering degree. We also see it at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid and in a double degree, with 360 credits, at the Universidad de Navarra: Data Science and Biotechnology.

The University of León offers a new degree in Data Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, combining two of the branches that are trending. A total of 35 places will be offered for this course.

In addition to subjects such as nanoscience, energy and other newly created degrees, in this new academic year we will have degrees such as Automotive Engineering at the University of Vigo, the double degree in Civil Engineering and Technical Architecture at the University of the Basque Country, in Gipuzkoa, or the double degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial and Automatic Electronic Engineering, in Araba.

This year also comes to the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, the degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. The Catholic University of Valencia has added a new degree in Animation and Video Game Design and Storytelling, to train future game designers. Finally, the UNED incorporates its distance degree in Energy Engineering, another branch with a great future ahead.
