Fortune magazine has published the Fortune 500 list, which lists the best public companies in the United States, as measured by gross receipts.

According to Fortune, companies are ranked based on total revenue during their fiscal year. Only companies that are incorporated, operate in the United States, and file financial statements with a government agency are eligible.

Baker Hughes ranked 170th

According to Fortune, this year the Baker Hughes company is ranked 170th and is reincorporating as an independent company after General Electric divested much of its stake in the business in 2019. GE had acquired the oilfield services and energy technology company in 2017.

With operations in more than 120 countries, Baker Hughes is an international industrial services company and one of the world’s largest oilfield services companies specializing in oil drilling, formation evaluation, completion, production and reservoir consulting. .

Its headquarters are split between Houston and the United Kingdom, with research and manufacturing facilities in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Germany, Norway, Louisiana and Missouri. It is directed by Lorenzo Simonelli and has more than 54,000 employees, including professionals and engineers.
