Organized annually by Mundo Minero Magazine, the 19th edition of the 2022 Mexico Polymetallic Congress will be held this Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20 at the La Cascada Convention Center, located in Hermosillo, Sonora.
Alberto López Santoyo, director of Mundo Minero Magazine, indicated that this year will have the participation of more than 30 speakers on mining issues, projects, exploration, exploitation and current problems, in an ideal setting to exchange ideas and knowledge.
“Always in the towns where a company arrives to explore, a dynamic is generated in that region and now with these congresses they generate responsible mining,” said López Santoyo.
Among the topics to be addressed at the conferences, the following stand out: “Development of metallurgical engineering at the University of Sonora”, “Stabilization of clays and their effect on gold and silver”, “Comprehensive solutions for the mining sector” and ” Diversity and wealth of the mining sector”.
During the Congress, different products and services of the mining supply in Mexican territory will be exhibited, in which companies such as Maptek, Holcim, Magna Gold, Beumer de México, Sonora Gold, among others, will participate.
In addition, during the event, the Ostotakani award will be presented to different personalities from the mining world, in recognition of their successful careers and achievements; On this occasion, they will receive it: Octavio Alvidrez Cano, Laura Belem Caballero Hidrogo, Jesús Leobardo Valenzuela García, Nicolás Cuevas-Gómez, Ariel Félix Echavarri Pérez, Arturo Arredondo Morales and Rafael Alexandri Rionda.
