One of the most emblematic cities in Colombia is Cartagena. There on June 1, 1533, Pedro de Heredia would arrive to lay the foundation stones of what later became the walled city, as this Colombian territory would initially be known. It is a city very popular with internal and external tourists, given the quality of its people, its exquisite local cuisine, its history and of course its beaches.
Precisely in front of one of its beaches, in the Boca Grande sector, in the “Luis Carlos Sarmiento Angulo Convention Center” of a renowned Hotel, the *XVII SLOM Conference* (Society of Operators and Maritime Terminals, Oil Tankers and Monobuoys), an event that began in 2005 in Venezuela and has been touring a large part of Latin America with -until now- a number of 908 members with 14 technical cooperation agreements and 14 countries that make up.
The Day served for two slogans that strengthened its objectives in these times of global pandemic: Integrated We Can More, and, The Reunion . In this sense, taking as a framework the celebration of the Independence Day of Cartagena, INSPENET was present for the launch of its portal and to make known everything related to its contributions and benefits for those who decide to subscribe, be part of it and for therefore belong to the global community that seeks to relate to their counterparts and colleagues in the technical, scientific and professional fields.
Francesco Solari, CEO of INSPENET, had the right to speak at the opening gala of the day and his speech was very precise and consistent, to the point that the comments after the presentation of the portal were so positive that the attendees were in the same auditorium registering on our page.
The expectations about INSPENET finished consolidating when the participants visited the stand, which was one of the most popular due to the design, the attention and the development of On Line interviews that were carried out through Inspenet Tv.
For his part, Ricardo Izquierdo, president of SLOM, praised the initiative and thanked INSPENET for accepting the invitation and the decision to launch the new proposal for inspection and engineering worldwide. Likewise, it is very likely that SLOM will conclude an agreement with INSPENET in the coming weeks for the provision of an information program of that organization on the channel’s regular schedule.
