Transocean awards contracts for its 184 million semi-submersible rigs in Norway

Transocean announced the award of contracts for two of its semi-submersible platforms in highly hostile environments off the coast of Norway. In total, the contracts total $184 million in firm portfolio.

The Transocean Encourage platform will receive an extension to complete seven wells.
