DOF Group ASA was awarded a contract with Shell for the provision of a subsea hydraulic well intervention contract in North America. This agreement maintains the group’s operational presence in the U.S. Gulf and expands its reach within the specialized subsea services segment.

DOF ‘s regional subsea team in North America will assume full project management of the project. This includes engineering, operational planning and the provision of intervention vessels along with the necessary surface and subsea services for the injection of chemical fluids into subsea wells selected.
The contract also contemplates the coordination of maritime assets and technical solutions aimed at optimizing the hydraulic intervention of wells. hydraulic intervention of wells. According to the planned schedule, offshore operations will commence during the second quarter of 2026. Integrated vessel utilization is estimated at 75 to 120 days of activity in U.S. Gulf waters, ensuring a sustained presence during the execution period.
In other words, DOF classifies this agreement as a substantial contract within its corporate range, established between US$25 million and US$50 million. This result consolidates the relationship with Shell Offshore and strengthens the group’s subsea services portfolio in the North American market.
