The global technology group specializing in sustainable energy solutions, Wärtsilä, has been selected to supply motors to a power plant project in the United States, intended to energize a major data center. This order includes 24 Wärtsilä 50SG engines, with a total power output of 429 MW, and was signed in the first quarter of 2026.
Participation in the power plant project

The project schedule calls for the plant’s commercial operations to begin in late 2028 or early 2029, highlighting Wärtsilä’s ability to meet demanding deadlines on large-scale projects.
